Geometric Art from Bare Wall Art

Another square geometric art piece from my "Kuba" art series, titled "Hip to Be Square". A dense, evenly-spaced field of colourful cubes. Unlike the more distorted pieces in the series, this one holds its structure: no warp, no pull, just square after square marching in orderly formation. A nod to Huey Lewis's tongue-in-cheek anthem, and to the piece's own quiet confidence in its geometry — no need to bend when the grid works just fine straight. ✌🏼

Fine Art Print - Premium 200gsm matte giclée print, perfect for custom framing or display as-is.
Standard Frame - Solid, satin-laminated wood frame with perspex glaze, offering great sunlight resistance. The frame is 20mm (0.8") front face x 23mm (0.9") deep.
Premium Frame - Solid, hand-stained wood box frame with perspex glaze, offering great sunlight resistance. The frame is 20mm (0.8") front face x 33mm (1.3") deep, 1cm deeper than the Standard for a more substantial look.
Mounting - Available as an add-on for both Standard and Premium Frames. Our off-white, conservation-grade mount (2.4mm thick) adds a 5cm (2") border around your artwork, this reduces the size of the artwork; the overall size of the frame stays the same.
Stretch Canvas - Hand-stretched giclée canvas on 38mm (1.5") deep European pine beams with mirror-wrapped edges giving a gallery-ready look. Sound-absorbing, helps soften acoustics and reduce noise.
Framed Canvas - Solid, satin-laminated float-framed stretch canvas with a 5mm gap between canvas and frame for an elegant floating effect. The frame is 13mm (0.5") front face x 55mm (2.2") deep. Sound-absorbing, helps soften acoustics and reduce noise.

This portfolio showcases a selection of visually striking geometric art from an establised English artist who excels in creating geometric configurations, transforming polygon and curvilinear forms into stunning, contemporary hard-edged abstract art. His art investigates geometry and colour combinations, often with deliberate spatial contradictions. There’s an emphasis on the simple structure of shapes and lines along with the fullness and flatness of colour and surface. The choice of colours is of importance, and much effort is dedicated to finding the perfect partnership for each work. These colour combinations are at times deliberately curious and unconventional, avoiding the obvious colour theory pairings. The art is partly experimental in its approach and is born out of imagination and music, which is also important to his work and is reflected by the titles which are inspired by the music and artists he listens to and enjoys.
